Whitestar Station - Planting Project

Whitestar Station is a 1,260-hectare sheep and beef farm that continues to welcome visitors from all around the world. Nestled in the Northern Coromandel Ranges, the farm has been proudly operated by the Evans family for 157 years and counting. This family-run farm is dedicated to preserving the land’s natural beauty through riparian planting along its waterways, helping to improve water quality, support native wildlife, and a regenerative environment.

Why Plant Here:

  • Join the Evans family in safeguarding this land for future generations and visitors.
  • Restore essential habitats for wildlife on the farm, supporting biodiversity in the area.
  • Support riparian planting along streams to improve water quality and reduce erosion.

Your contribution will fund vital planting efforts, creating a healthier ecosystem that benefits both nature and visitors for years to come.

Planting Seasons

Each year, new plantings add life back into Whitestar Station in the heart of the Coromandel ranges. These snapshots capture what was planted, who was involved, and how the area is being restored season by season.
