What a day at Ride Coromandel! Around 20 keen volunteers turned up and helped get more than 400 native trees and shrubs in the ground. The new planting was focused around our freshly installed toilet facility as well as key spots around the park to create shade, shelter, and better habitat for birds and bugs.
Massive thanks to the crew who made it happen. Ride Coromandel really is a community park, powered by locals and riders who show up, plant trees, and keep this place looking mint.
Come out for a ride or walk and check out the new planting and watch it grow over the years ahead. You're also welcome to christen our loo, but please pop the lid down after you doo!!
