Season 1
Season One at the Historical Maritime Park focused on restoring the riparian areas that run through the park. The donated native trees were planted along waterways to form protective buffers that help filter runoff, reduce erosion and improve overall water quality. These new riparian plantings will support native birds, insects and aquatic species, creating healthier habitats and strengthening biodiversity over time.
This project has set strong foundations for long-term environmental restoration at the park, and the contribution is part of a wider effort to protect the health of the river system and surrounding landscape.
