Steampunk the Thames transforms the historic gold mining town of Thames into a world of Victorian-inspired fantasy, where brass, goggles and extraordinary imagination take centre stage. Held each November, this vibrant four-day festival features colourful parades, live entertainment, markets, costume competitions and immersive experiences, celebrating creativity, heritage and community in one of New Zealand's most unique cultural events.
