When is the best time to visit?

There is always something in bloom throughout the year, with seasonal displays of native and exotic flowers. Spring brings irises and bog plants, followed by azaleas and rhododendrons, while orchids, begonias, hydrangeas, and water lilies can be enjoyed from November to April.

Can you take a picnic to the gardens?

Yes, absolutely. There are plenty of spots to pull up a blanket and enjoy the scenery.

Is the garden wheelchair or mobility accessible?

For our visitors in wheelchairs, we don’t charge. We encourage family members to assist their relatives to the ‘big pond’ where they can enjoy being outside whilst the family walk through the gardens and the bush walk. The property is not mobility scooter accessible.

Are dogs permitted at the gardens?

Absolutely they are! We love fur babies and they are welcomed with a big fuss. We just ask that they are kept on short leads (because of our friendly ducks) and people pick up after them.
